days gone by

This is another picture update like I did a couple weeks ago.

I actually meant to post these first 3 pics awhile ago and forgot.
This was at a casual wedding reception in December.  It wasn't really meant to be a dance, but a few kids were having a good ole time dancing up front to the music they were playing during dinner. Some adults joined in for a few songs, but then it faded back out to just these few kids, and I think Nyla may have literally been the last one to leave the "dance floor."

Nyla kept dragging this little group of kids, whom she'd never met before, out to dance whether they wanted to or not! Luckily they were pretty cooperative. If Nyla had been on the receiving end of someone trying to get her to dance, she would have refused and made a scene about it.

Instead she was not bashful at all and loved every minute of it. The photographer at the reception took these photos.

This is Grandpa and Nyla playing in Daddy's new working facility.

Hazel is such a happy camper most of the time.

And her mouth is always open...

... talking.

I thought Hazel looked like a big girl in this picture and the next one.
A gal that works at the daycare took these pictures on her phone and texted them to me during the day. I thought that was really nice and I enjoy seeing what Hazel is up to.

First time finger painting! Glad they do this stuff so then I don't have to make this mess at home. :)

Nyla is definitely a girly girl and she has really gotten into having me braid her hair or style it certain ways over the last couple weeks. And she says she wants to grow it long like mine. Now that it's not so curly anymore, I don't mind the idea of letting it get longer (won't be so hard to manage).

Last week I was looking all over for AJ and she wasn't coming when I called her. Finally she wiggled her head far enough out of this pile of dirty laundry that I realized she was there. She loves a good pile of laundry and we always have plenty of it. But generally we keep it off the floor so she doesn't make a bed in it.

This is Tyler's newest bull that he purchased at the Grund Beef Genetics bull sale in Oakley. We made a date out of the day by going to the sale together and then going on to Colby to pick out new glasses for Tyler. We topped off the day by eating at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants with no children. :)
